This shadow in the late afternoon sun struck me as one of the best spontaneously emerged pieces of art I had seen lately.
This is one of my first tosses with my new camera!!! Greg got me the Olympus Stylus 725SW, and it arrived Monday, yea! I am totally loving it. It's perfect for tossing; the lens is offset (in the upper left corner) and nothing sticks out to get in the way, it's shockproof, and because of a special thru Costco I even got a silicone cover to protect it from dents and scratches. :D
I can't wait to use it under water too - it's waterproof to 16ft. for up to an hour. And (as part of the pkg deal, too) it came with a floating strap so when I do take it in the water, I won't lose it. :)
I'm starting to think maybe I'll just send the SP-500 with Greg, and I'll hold onto this one. ;)
...if you ever get to visit the Detroit airport, you must walk this corridor. It goes under the terminals and connects the main NorthWest Terminal to another terminal. They play psychedelic music and the colors keep changing. Its a fun experience and great for photos. I think I spent about 20 minutes here :)
The Detroit airport is one of my favorite airports anywhere. It is modern, fast and interesting.
Grand Cayman, 60mm, The strobe light bouncing of the coral walls brought in some interesting color I hoped for but didn't expect. f8, 1/90, ISO200. Rt strobe 1/4 power, straight ahead, Left strobe full power aimed straight left to bounce off a coral face about 1/2 m away.
We love the Alsace wines, maybe too much? A couple of glasses and this is the effect!
Whatever the cause this is an unusual sky.
Long time without ideas when Psychodellic Fuji happened.
