An alien traveling through time and space.
Check out the instructional video walkthrough on my blog if you want learn how to make shots just like this.
I think psychedelic posters have really interesting typography. It forms to the image's shape. The colors are chromatic and the text is outlined. There are 2 color inversions for the text.
Perhaps a bit over the top. The original model Enterprise is housed in the National Air and Space museum in Washington DC. Being a long time trek fan I had to see it. It took a while to find but I did; in a souvenir shop. I took this in the shop, but processed the pixels out of it because it was rather sad seeing it on display surrounded by trinkets for sale.

"I think the real test of psychedelics is what you do with them when you're not on them, what kind of culture you build, what kind of art, what kind of technologies... What's lacking in the Western mind is the sense of connectivity and relatedness to the rest of life, the atmosphere, the ecosystem, the past, our children's future. If we were feeling those things we would not be practicing culture as we are."
-- Terence McKenna
More experimentation with the new materials I acquired yesterday. This is a series of four images that are meant to be a series. I like how the series flows from organic to digital – and especially like how the negative space between the colour helps create a mood. Sort of like the quiet between the notes in music.

Just for fun!!! Sounds like a great name for a retro 70's band I think ;)
Wishing a safe, enjoyable and relaxing holiday weekend for all my friends!

"Satellite Publications" had various imprints - "After Hours", " First Niter", "Nitey Nite", "Unique Books" and "Wee Hours". They were based in New York City, but listed various (fictious?) locations in their publications: Buffalo, Culver City and Cleveland.
