PSU 404 - (Ex 7981 BT) - AEC Marquis/Merryweather turntable ladder; new to East Riding Fire Service. Bedfordshire Steam Fayre on 15th September 2012 - (c) Peter Jarman
The square 4-pin connector attaches to the square 4-pin on the PSU - the one with the two yellow and two black wires only!! Push the pins for the yellow wires together and the pins for the black pins together (middle of the photo). Then solder on the hook up wires. Attach this connector to 11A input on RAMPS v1.3. Be certain that you are attaching 12v to 12v. Use the straight 4-pin connector (black) to run 12v from the PSU to the 5A input on RAMPS v1.3. On an ATX power supply, yellow is 12v (but confirm it with a meter). Be sure you are running 12v from the PSU to the 12V input on RAMPS before powering up!! Also, on an ATX power supply, the ps_on pin must be connected to ground for the power supply to turn on. These cables are connected to RAMPS using the green 2-Pin connectors.
