This $3 soldering helper has tremendous value when soldering small components

Left three are ground, right three are +12V. After tinning 1/4" stripped wire, it's very easy to let the clamp hold the wire, and then to dump a ton of solder in to hold it solid.

Small molex connectors (XH) removed from switch wire leaving exposed female pin connectors were then heatshrunk and pushed onto the pins that are involved with power sense and fan speed.

Digital calipers confirm square holes are approximately 1/4"

PSU 404 - Holcot Steam Rally on 29th August 2005

At Bogue Field PSU 308 security division provided perimeter security and operated an entry control point for a Forward Operating Base established there. At the entry control point barricades and razor wire obstacles were set up just as they would be during the early phase of establishing a forward base. Port Security Unit personnel made use of the cover and concealment offered by the barricades during small arms and IED attacks.
