I decided to put my very first pictures with Scripture on flickr. To date I have made over 1,000 of them, however the first 200-300 were never shared on flickr prior to now.
Picking up on yesterday's theme with our Proverb of the Day:
"A man of many companions may be ruined,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."
Proverbs 18 verse 24
In the great review of Life, I'm certain it will be our closest relationships that we be shown to be of greatest importance. This proverb is in no way criticising our sisters or our brothers but rather stating that there are some friends that are even more amazing than immediate family. To become that kind of friend to someone must rate as one of the most noble ambitions.
To be Christlike is to be a friend that sticks closer than a brother. And what a wonderful concept it is to 'stick' with one another through thick and thin, through good times and bad times, the best of times and the worst of times.
Here's to friendship and to strengthening them today.

In Proverbs Ten, we find great wisdom,
In short and sweet, concise precision.
A wise son brings joy, a foolish one sorrow,
Hard work pays off, but laziness can borrow.
Words can heal, but also hurt,
A good path leads to a life of worth.
Wealth gained quickly will surely flee,
But diligence brings prosperity.
Hatred stirs up strife and contention,

Proverbs 30, listen well

First off, it's been three days since I uploaded my last photo, so I feel super rusty doing this whole description process.
A few days ago, Christie spent $83 on groceries, and, armed with her coupons and detailed notes, saved us $131. So, naturally, when she got home, I made her wear her ridiculously long receipt like a beauty contestant's sash.
She wears it well, doesn't she?
I love my wife. She is the best, and being married to her is one of the hugest blessings in my life. just see the scripture reference above and you'll see what I'm talking about, because Christie totally exemplifies that.

WAIMANALO, Hawaii – Soldiers and staff from Pacific Regional Medical Command met for a day of paintball and proverbs, Aug. 8, at Bellows Air Force Station, here.
The program was sponsored by Tripler Army Medical Center’s Department of Ministry and Pastoral Care and offered Soldiers the opportunity to practice teamwork, communication skills and work on spiritual fitness.
“As a chaplain, I recognize that the body and mind are important, but the spirit really drives the train,” said Chaplain (Lt. Col.)
