In Proverbs Ten, we find great wisdom,
In short and sweet, concise precision.
A wise son brings joy, a foolish one sorrow,
Hard work pays off, but laziness can borrow.
Words can heal, but also hurt,
A good path leads to a life of worth.
Wealth gained quickly will surely flee,
But diligence brings prosperity.
Hatred stirs up strife and contention,
Love covers all with gentle intention.
The wise speak with knowledge and grace,
But the foolish spout off with disgrace.
In Proverbs Ten, these truths we find,
To guide us on our daily grind.
Proverbs 30, listen well
Wisdom's stories here they tell
God's words pure, a shield and stay
Ask for honesty, don't go astray
Two things, Lord, I ask of thee
Keep me humble, let me be free
Liars, cheats, their ways are cursed
Pride and arrogance, they're the worst
Nature's wonders, they display
God's greatness in a special way
Ants, badgers, locusts too
They teach us what we ought to do
A lion, mighty among beasts
Fearless, strong, and never least
People's eyes, they crave for more
But a humble heart is what God's looking for.
First off, it's been three days since I uploaded my last photo, so I feel super rusty doing this whole description process.
A few days ago, Christie spent $83 on groceries, and, armed with her coupons and detailed notes, saved us $131. So, naturally, when she got home, I made her wear her ridiculously long receipt like a beauty contestant's sash.
She wears it well, doesn't she?
I love my wife. She is the best, and being married to her is one of the hugest blessings in my life. just see the scripture reference above and you'll see what I'm talking about, because Christie totally exemplifies that.
"A friend loves at all times;
and a brother or sister is born for adversity."
Proverbs 17 verse 17
Whilst we may not want to think about the adversities we will all face in life, the heartwarming comfort is that there are friends that stick closer than a sister or a brother, and brothers and sisters who stick closer than the best of friends. What a great day to say, "Thank You!" to a friend or a brother or sister.

WAIMANALO, Hawaii – Soldiers and staff from Pacific Regional Medical Command met for a day of paintball and proverbs, Aug. 8, at Bellows Air Force Station, here.
The program was sponsored by Tripler Army Medical Center’s Department of Ministry and Pastoral Care and offered Soldiers the opportunity to practice teamwork, communication skills and work on spiritual fitness.
“As a chaplain, I recognize that the body and mind are important, but the spirit really drives the train,” said Chaplain (Lt. Col.) Jon Hollenbeck, deputy chief, Department of Ministry and Pastoral Care, TAMC. “(Spirit is) what gets you through the difficult and tough times of life (and is) what grounds and centers you.”
