Oxen are strong.
Oxen are messy.
Like the song, "Love and marriage," they go together like a horse (Ox) and carriage.
Lately, I've noticed how beautiful and strong people are... and that without ignoring how we are all a bit weird. Life is a package deal. People are a package deal. To get the bits you want you kind of have to sign up for the whole package! To quote another song from my youth, "Love me, love my dog."
So, today, if a friend or family member becomes irritating, think about their strengths for a minute. It may be a messy relationship at times but it's still a good one! Inconvenience is often the price for moving onwards and upwards together.

Along the eastern edge of Glacier National Park, you will find this quiet lake next to St. Mary in Montana. The Lake is known as the Lower St. Mary Lake.
Many times I have looked upon different lakes, yet always something different reflecting back, seems like the mornings or evenings is when I step into this world of wonder. Well folks, God designed us with an imagination and with a heart. Many times we refuse to look at the reflection of it for the pain that has been buried deep within, then when we live our lives out, this pain slips out for it is like a vapor, although we think we can keep it to ourselves and I am not talking about grieving, I am talking about unforgiveness or bitterness, yet if we will just allow Jesus to come to meet us at this place along our own lake shore, no one else needs to know, yet let Jesus come and take you into this lake to wash the unforgiveness and bitterness away, like washing the dirt away from our eyes so we can see clearly, like I said, its not between me and you, but it is between you and God, whether you believe it or not.
