Beauty comes from within. The very first person that should accept the kind of beauty you have is yourself. Appreciate your beauty. Woman who fears the Lord has a beauty that is different from the rest. Because her beauty come from the heart and comes out naturally.
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

my brother bought me the 85mm f/1.8 to celebrate his new job :) i've only gotten to play with it a few times over the past week--finals season is here, boo--but i've fallen in love with it already. excited to try out some portraiture with it!
a little background information on what's been going on in my photostream recently: this year, my church is pursuing a Bible-in-a-year devotional plan together. in an effort to remember to review the verses that particularly catch my heart, i have been trying to make facebook cover photos with a verse from the week, each week. it's a challenge to figure out what i can use that is both uplifting and convicting for Christians and non-Christians alike, and to make sure the image does not detract from the words, but it's been a fun/rewarding experiment thus far. here is week 6!

While we were attending a gathering in Vermont with fellow Letterpress enthusiasts, the "host" treated us to a "herding" which I'd never seen. For more insight into the master of these beautiful animals, check out Matt Brown Woodblock Prints of Ooloo Press in VT

Thinking especially of a dear flickr friend who is in mourning for the loss of her precious companion. Hope this helps cheer her a bit.

"Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways... Whoever walks in integrity will be delivered, but he who is crooked in his ways will suddenly fall... Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered."
