Tim was checking the "natural" noise levels on a cassette we were transferring. It was very interesting stuff! He's the best Pro Tools guy I know!

unintended "glide" of 20 minutes length on dialog, discovered after making a pass of writing EQ snapshots and tweaking edits.
The parameter we're looking at is a high-pass filter. My dialogue over this 20-min stretch suddenly became thin.
Normally I'm not looking at every parameter, so it took a while to discover.
This is Evergroove's sweet ProTools gear. My goal was to emphasize the green lights of the equipment, so I turned down the studio lights and used a green lava lamp to fill and highlight with a moody techno glow.
Breakpoints written incorrectly by "Write to Current" or "Write to All Enabled"
(zoomed in to sample level - ramp is one sample long)
If tail of region is trimmed or nudged to right, breakpoint after tail is removed, creating a long ramp to the next breakpoint on the track.
This occurs across all automated parameters, effectively creating an unintended "glide" which could span any amount of time.
