I have had so little free time it's not even funny. This is the first opportunity this week I had to shoot a 365. I haven't even had any time this week to shave (hence no shot of my face)!
Thursday and Friday night my father and I were hired to record a jazz band that we used to do sound for. A friend of ours generously lent us his Digi 002 for the project, and we recorded into ProTools 7.3 LE. It's been fun, but I had to skip on a date that I had planned on Friday night, but I'm getting paid for this gig, so I suppose I can justify it by saving that money away to get myself an iPod touch when they come out later this month.
After spending a while looking for the right music to fit the film for my Post-Production project, I decided to just record my own! Great fun!
This is another engineers Protools rig setup in a quaint house in Nashville. I spent two days here editing and tuning vocals and preparing tracks for mixing.
It was cozy and yet strange to work alone in a house all day long.
I've basically been staring at this view for the past three days, editing radio liners. It's always fun working at home though!

A 12-second test clip produced in Cinema 4D. This was my first attempt to map a video onto multiple animated surfaces.
Apparently our ProTools rig can handle something like 130 tracks. With this setup, I was a bit concerned anyone other than Caleb would end up on the record. There is still the distinct possibility that bass will not end up on the record.
Our buddy Eddie built these drums and I must say, they sound fantastic. If that guy made guitars, I'd buy one from him.
