Not everyone uses Photoshop for photo editing and not everyone uses ProTools for audio editing. I guess I just like to be different.

Damn real-time export...

deep in audiological thought

Mike - cajon player and singer for JOINT in the tracking room

In the studio mixing one of my songs. This is a loooooooooooong and tedious process. Nowadays it's not enough to JUST be a singer. No, you gotta be able to create, write, produce, engineer, mix and edit your songs too. If you don't, you will either

a) have to pay lots of money to someone else,

b) have someone do it who doesn't really care how it sounds,

c) have someone do it and it takes them FOREVER.

I have learned a lot of lessons while working on this album and the biggest one is that there are very few people in this world and especially in the music industry with any integrity. I've learned how to do as much as I can on my own to avoid wasting time. I finally see a faint bit of light at the end of this tunnel. lol
