Another shot of the in-progress pack. The object nearest the bottom is the body of the neutrona thrower (the 'gun' hooked to the pack).
Craft day at grandmas (a secret attempt to get the boys away from the ghostbusters game), and they build their own ghostbuster and Slimer, complete with trap.

Who ya gonna call?
Yes, I know, I forgot the N-filter. Unfortunately the batch of brownies didn't turn out well, and most of them were too hard to shape and pile into a cylinder. I made this for a friend's birthday, and told him maybe next year he'd get the other half of the pack. The chocolate rims around the lenses were the hardest part. I took Keebler fudge stripe cookies and soaked them in water until the cookie part could be scraped off the chocolate layer. Then I put the chocolate rings on greased parchment paper and nuked them until they melted. I used a cap from a bottle to enlarge the hole in each ring to the accurate size. Chilled the rings, then placed them on the cake after frosting it.
Finally spotted an original "no ghost" VHS copy of Ghostbusters at the thrift store today. Decided to put that and my VHS of Gremlins on display along side my proton pack and Gremlins props. #gremlins #ghostbusters #vhs #horror #halloween #protonpack #stripe #gizmo #mogwai #1984
Day 184: 3.7.09
Of all the Ghosties that needed to be busted the Key Master did seem to be the most harmless of the lot. It's not as if there was any slime involved or any of that marshmallowy stompiness. I don't think you can really be thought of as any great threat when your name is Vinz. Even when he's the dog just take him to get fixed and that'll knock that friskiness out of him. If he's still causing you bother then a tap on the nose with a rolled up news paper or a light charge from a Proton Pack will do the job, you know you'll have one of those lying around somewhere.
I must admit he was a bit of a snappy dresser too. Fabrics that could only be made by man. No natural clothes could have that shine or produce trouser creases so sharp that they could slice cheese. Ah an the hair, you can just tell that each individual strand has be greased down and would only move with the aid of a hammer and chisel. Yes it's true he was a style icon.
I can't help but wonder if he'll turn up for the third outing of the Ghostbusters, which to be honest I'm quite wary about. I hope they don't mess it up.
