Here are some screw cap thingies (not sure of their actual name, sorry [EDIT: 1/2" & 3/4" closure plugs]) that I found at Home Depot that will be used in place of the knobs on the top and side of the main housing. I'm sure there are other things I could have found or used, but I just did the best I could without looking at every small knob-like object in the store.
