A proposal for a site specific earthwork sculpture (already in existence). I participated in a class in which everyone was proposing to make large public sculptures in the Presidio. Our proposals kept getting rejected, so I decided to propose a large-scale object that was already installed by the park service. The photo on the left is the "sculpture" onsite. The photo on the right is my model proposing it as a sculpture. December 2005.

These are the picnic tables at which we ate lunch the day I proposed. I was secretly scoping out this section of the trail for a good proposal site. It would have been way more romantic if that guy was laying on the table and talking on his cell phone at the time.
This was taken while on the vacation in Ithaca, NY, coming back from Corning, NY, where Peter proposed.
Proposal sent to Upillar for consideration. The idea with this design was how to pack in as much information/options possible without looking TOO crowded.
This afternoon at work, I spent quite a while chatting with my last customer of the day about all of the the cool places to see and explore on the Oregon Coast. Which resulted in me completely ignoring the pile of yard work I'd planned on starting and instead driving to the coast to watch the sun set and shoot some astrophotography. The yard work will still be waiting tomorrow and I had a great time tonight! It was so beautiful! No regrets on that decision. :-)
