Chrysanthemums (Hardy Mums) at Muscoot Farm (Katonah, NY)--October 4, 2009.
The Hardy Mums' colors bring to all eyes that behold them a message of autumn colors to come. Not too far in the future, maples will be clothed in red, yellow, and orange; oaks will range from orange to a deep brown; and, ash will be as golden as a summer evening.

"Then said I: 'Lord, how long?' And He answered: 'Until cities be waste without inhabitant, and houses without man, and the land become utterly waste"
(Isaiah, 6: 11)
There is only one wizarding newspaper in Britain, discounting such small circulation publications such as The Quibbler. The Daily Prophet, whose headquarters are in Diagon Alley, is delivered by owl on a daily basis to nearly every wizarding household in Britain. Payment is effected by placing coins in the pouch tied to the paper-owl's leg. Occasionally (when something particularly interesting or exciting happens, such as the illegal flight of a Ford Anglia the length of Britain) an Evening Prophet edition will be rushed out.
Michael was singing with his guitar when I approached him. He noticed my camera and to my surprise he asked me if I'd like to take some photos of him. The 5-minute build up of adrenaline seemed to have been unnecessary.
He asked me if it's gonna be a colour or black-and-white, to which I replied definitely a black-and-white. He smiled and said he always prefers that format. He also warned me not to use flash if I want him to look at the camera.
As if there hadn't been enough surprises, he also took a small book out of his T-Shirt and insisted that I keep it. He then claimed to be a prophet and started talking about the upcoming armageddon and how his book would help me understand it. Going through the book at home, it turns out that Michael holds double degrees and have some interest in astrophotography.
I had taken quite a few shots when I asked him if I could take one last shot before the goodbye. To my delight this last shot happens to be my favourite too. There's something about his thoughtful stare, and of course I love how the wind blows his hair slightly here.
Stranger #5.
Prophet Elias Church.
Established in the year 1923 this small church is hidden inside a little mapple trees forest, at a short distance from Agios Georgios Nilias village.
Full name: Humphrey Bazel Forge
Aliases: HB, HBF, Old Man, Faux Alan Moore, the Prophet
Age: 56
Nationality: English
Bio: Humphrey grew up in poverty, until he was able to afford himself to get to college, majoring in social sciences and eventually going to Leeds for history. He then worked as a janitor and a writer due to the fact no one ever really attended his history classes when he became professor in the span of ten years.
When the UK reformed and started to fall, Humphrey became a activist and outspoken critic, writing for various newspaper companies before they bankrupted. He eventually came across machines and vampires in the middle of a battle, saving a young girl. She taught him how to sew and live on the streets before dying of malaria. With his new skills set, Humphrey became a drunkard living on the streets yet as a assassin, searching for answers to come.
Personality, powers and abilities: Loud, occasionally brash, poetic and thoughtful. Humphrey is described as Alan Moore due to the way he talks and parts of his personalities run in his blood. He accepts it as a good and bad thing. Humphrey developed powers by 12, and was able to create fire out of his palms. His occultism belief made him seek for magic books which led his ability to cast and create spells. He is also a good lecturer, survivor and great observer. Very familiar with bombs and dynamites
Equipment: Wears a suit he tailor made after saving a girl, physically and mystically enchanted it protection. He commonly carries a sai around him, making him a common enemy of the undead and machines. Glass bottles, dynamites and improvised/homemade weapons.
Lots of learning from this amazing book.
Prophet by Khalil Gibran
This book is one of the best gifts I've ever received. Thank you so much J.
The word mantis is actually derived from the Greek word mantis for prophet or fortune teller. The praying mantis has excellent eyesight and can see up to about 50 feet away. The praying mantis is actually more closely related to the cockroach than to grasshoppers (oh, I wish I didn't know that!).

Earlier tonight, I noticed a trivia question on † Nobody You Know †'s stream. Took a shot at it, and turns out... my line of thought was right.
Featuring a very heavily modified Draconic Girl set, which was my prize. I was offered something which would have required less investment of time, but apparently, I wanted a challenge tonight. Nipple piercings/chain took about an hour of modification, and about another 35 minutes on the facial piercings.
Would not consider this a challenge for less than experienced modders, and I love the result. Thanks for your generosity, and the sneak preview.
