Romanesque stained glass windows in the Cathedral of Augsburg, dated to the late 11th or the early 12th century. From left to right they feature the prophets Jonah, Daniel, Hosea, King David and Moses.
The windows are about 2.20 m high. The Daniel, Hosea and King David windows are still in their original condition, whereas the Jonah window contains some reworks, and the Moses window is a re-creation of the original dated to the middle of the 16th century.

At the end of Lower Antelope Canyon in Arizona you can see the head of a figure which could have been carved by an 11th-century romanesque sculptor for some abbey in France or Italy, depicting the prophet Jeremiah or some other Old Testament character. His long hair and beard form fiery waves... Or maybe I'm just seeing things. In short, nature at its most virtuosic.

In a way, these roses speak to me. They are talking about life, beauty, transitoriness, and about our duty not to waste this life we have got. What the prophet says I am not so sure. He has been for years outside in the garden, and nobody listens, it seems. His presence is a reminder nevertheless. Of what?

I am the man that died
As no man should die
As the dark stole my breath
For you
All for you
On the unforgiving cross
So why did you love me
And why did you hate me
What did you see
That tore you in two
That you couldn’t believe in
That you didn’t want to follow
Was too much to digest
Leaving you hollow
Still hungry
Still lost
But the promise remains
If only you would look
If only you would believe me
Because what you are now
What you have become
Is something that lingers
Something that has come undone
Not really living
Because you don’t belong
So who do you place your faith in
Someone or none
What are you inside
Just a shell that holds a heartbreak
One that is crying silently
Over and over
Until it quietly dies

In the biblical narrative of the Books of Samuel, David is described as a young shepherd and harpist whose heart is devoted to Yahweh, the one true God. He gains fame and becomes a hero by killing Goliath. He becomes a favorite of Saul, the first king of Israel, but is forced to go into hiding when Saul suspects David of plotting to take his throne. After Saul and his son Jonathan are killed in battle, David is anointed king by the tribe of Judah and eventually all the tribes of Israel. He conquers Jerusalem, makes it the capital of a united Israel, and brings the Ark of the Covenant to the city. He commits adultery with Bathsheba and arranges the death of her husband, Uriah the Hittite. David's son Absalom later tries to overthrow him, but David returns to Jerusalem after Absalom's death to continue his reign. David desires to build a temple to Yahweh, but is denied because of the bloodshed of his reign. He dies at age 70 and chooses Solomon, his son with Bathsheba, as his successor instead of his eldest son Adonijah. David is honored as an ideal king and the forefather of the future Hebrew Messiah in Jewish prophetic literature, and many psalms are attributed to him.

Moses is considered the most important prophet in Judaism and one of the most important prophets in Christianity, Islam, the Druze faith, the Baháʼí Faith, and other Abrahamic religions. According to both the Bible and the Quran, Moses was the leader of the Israelites and lawgiver to whom the authorship, or "acquisition from heaven", of the Torah (the first five books of the Bible) is attributed.
“Vrubel himself decided to portray the Prophet Moses not as Michelangelo’s bearded husband, but as a beardless young man, on the grounds that he began to prophesy in his youth. Some modern art historians mistakenly found similarities between the prophet Moses and Vrubel's Demon. They argued that the image of the Demon was already in the artist’s imagination at that time. They were misled by Moses' hairstyle, with long curly hair framing his face, which had nothing resembling the Demon. This literary theme captured the imagination of Mikhail Alexandrovich much later.”

Prophet Adam (AS) is regarded as the first human being created by God from the earth. While the core narrative of his creation and life in Paradise is shared, each faith emphasizes different theological roles for him.
Core Shared Beliefs
Creation: Adam was formed by God from dust or clay, and God breathed life (a soul) into him.
Companion: Eve (Hawwa) was created as his companion, often described as being formed from Adam's rib.
The Fall: They initially lived in a paradisiacal garden (Eden) but were expelled to Earth after eating fruit from a forbidden tree, a moment often termed "the Fall".
Progenitor: He is known as the "Father of Humankind," and all humans are considered his descendants.

Omvrianós peak 3,310.4 ft (1009 m), Greece. Outcrops of schists & similar metamorphic rocks are scattered throughout the mountain’s cliffs. Petrokerasa village is nearby.
Elijah, the Old Testament Prophet, is revered as St. Elias by Greek Orthodox church and celebrated on July 20th.
Multitudinous shrines of St. Elias are erected on almost all mountains’ peaks throughout Greece; they’re usually quite tiny, old and picturesque, lit only by small hanging oil-lamps and candles.
Bonamargy Friary is situated in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, off the Cushendall Road on the approach to Ballycastle. The name Bonamargy means ‘foot of the Margy River’, the river formed by the joining of the Cary River and Shesk Rivers.
It is a late Franciscan foundation established in 1485 by Rory MacQuillan. It is said that the first battle between the warring MacDonnell and MacQuillan clans was fought on nearby land. At the main entrance to the friary is a small, two storey gatehouse which opens into a store and workroom. Well worn steps lead directly to the dormitory above. Traces of an altar can still be found in the adjoining church, and the locked vaults hold the remains of the celebrated chieftain, Sorley Boy MacDonnell, and several of the Earls of Antrim.
His grandson Randall, 1st Marquess of Antrim, noted for his role in the War of the Three Kingdoms, is also buried there.
Perhaps the friary's most famous resident was the 17th century prophet and recluse Julie MacQuillen.
Known as "The Black Nun", MacQuillen wished to be buried at the entrance of the chapel so that she might be trodden under the feet of those who entered. A worn Celtic cross (rounded with a hole in the centre) marks her grave at the west end of the main church.
Around 1822 four manuscripts were found in an old oaken chest in the ruins of Bonamargy Friary. One of these manuscripts is described as "Saint Bonaventures Life of Christ" and/or "A History of the Blessed Scriptures". Another manuscript contained a large portion of one of the principal theological works of Saint Thomas Aquinas, written on vellum, in very contracted Latin and extending to about 600 quarto pages. The earliest date appearing on it is 1338 and the latest 1380. It originally belonged to the Monastery of Saint Anthony, of Amiens in France.
Nobody listened to Brainy Smurf, when he tried to warn them about climate change and the catastrophic climatic events that would ensue... And now, as is too often the case, the bearer of unpopular news pays the price for the collective inertia.
