Proof of David and I being there about 2 years ago in Xian. We were very happy to see it now and surprised to see that is still there. Roland, thank you very much to find it and send it to us! (You can not ignore it when it's written next to your door, eh? Hahaha!)

  

At 8,550 feet, spring comes a little later, no matter what state you're in :)

Summer 2018 3rd leg: We'd planned a few weeks in southern Colorado, then wised up and went to Utah instead.

 

June 20: Moved camp up to Fish Lake, relaxed with a few easy lakeside hikes.

Spell checker is not the best proofing tool!! I looked over and over this thing. It was my first custom designed by me that I have ordered. I wanted to be extra careful I checked and checked and checked this thing over. Well, when you spell check Brain, it does not catch that it should be BRIAN! UGH!

Test shot with 1983 proof set. Unfortunately the reflectiveness of the acrylic case makes it hard to capture a reasonable image. The strange difference in the rim is due to the light being reflected away by the case, and because I had to fiddle with the levels to make a usable image.
