A friend got his Ludlow TYpograph up and casting, and made me a heavy chunk of slugs as a souveneir. He thought that they wouldn't print, because he's a novice as casting type slugs, but I decided to proof them and they print beautifully! Thanks David!
Prayer. Self reflection through a parallel human whom which the Holy Spirit has manifested itself to me. Gods Love. One Love. With dedication and faith in him...
She will arrive in time...
These lousy photos were taken on a recent jaunt to an abandoned military base with a couple of good friends. I was thrilled to find my first bomb-proof toilet!
Is it just me or is the thought of bomb-proof toilet quite appealing? Well I was drawn to it...knowing that you could come to no harm while going about your daily...business.
I was, therefore, horrified to see that the bomb-proof toilet was just an illusion...false promises; there's nothing worse.

Hurricane wind proof glass protects the million dollar stained glass of Jesus Christ at the new Co-Catherdral of the Sacred Heart in Houston, TX for the Galveston-Houston area. The glass did it's job when the winds of Hurricane Ike assailed it at 170 to 200 miles an hour!!!!
Each domestic departure in Vanuatu comes with a 200 vatu fee per person. Most places just gave you a paper receipt, but at SON, you get this weathered wooden pass.
Just in case her science teacher doesn't believe her, here's proof Mason was diligently taking notes on the new exhibit at the Garfield Park Conservatory.

Victoreen Condenser r-Meter Model 70 Radiation Dosimeter
Manufactured by Victoreen Instrument Company in Cleveland, Ohio c.1945
Canada Museum of Science and Technology
Artifact no. 1998.0198
This is a picture of the back of the dosimeter near the bottom and is a sign of use as well as proof of authenticity. The tape indicates that the batteries that light the scale you would look at through the eyepiece were replaced along with the silica gel. This poses the question of if the old silica gel had absorbed some radioactive material or if it had simply absorbed too much moisture to be effective much longer. Either way, it proves the dosimeter was used for quite awhile, especially before 1964.
An interesting side note is that the ink used on the tape appeared to be standard ballpoint ink. We were questioning if ballpoint pens had even been invented by 1964 so we researched "Bic" and it turns out they had just become accessable in the early 1960's so this speaks to the quick success of Bic pens in North America.

Spent today colour proofing an upcoming project on press at Synergie UK. Big thanks to everyone for a thoroughly interesting day, learned so much!
Proof that I am simply here and quite moving forward daily - my quiet corner in the midst of my not so quiet house is where the moving forward is schemed when my corner of the ocean is not to be presently sought out for such conjuring.

Fat balls are in a caged feeder that the robin and dunnock use
I use loads of sun flower hearts as all the other birds apart from starlings and song thrush eat them. As the song thrush is pretty friendly and trusting she comes up to my back door for sultanas.
