See lots of promise here :)
theres a promise ring on her finger
a constant reminder to keep her legs closed
to keep her body hers
to save something sacred
the strange thing is
she can't find that ring now.

This little guy (or gal) had no fear and walked right up to us. So pretty! This zoo is a small, well-kept drive thru zoo in the SW corner of Missouri. There is also a petting zoo area - where several of the "young-uns" are bottle fed 3 times a day. The animals are wonderful and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Early morning during our visit to New Hampshire. I hauled my butt out of bed and down to the river, just in time to catch the fog hanging over the water as the sun peaked down the path. Moments like this drive home the promise held in every day, the promise of good things to do and see and become.
Similar to the first shot I put up from NH (seen here www.flickr.com/photos/mexipickle/259330787/, but I think I like this one better.
