During one of the CSCW presentations, the projector suddenly started showing a yellow background rather than a white one. As my freshmen students (should) know, this means that the blue bulb went out--leaving only red and green light (which, mixed together, result in yellow light). I think I'll put this image on the exam. (I showed it in class, too.)

This is a scanned image that I took back in the 70s when I first started work as a Projectionist.
The first machine is set up for Wide screen hence the Brown/Red spool in the top spool box, the one behind is set for Standard film hence the Blue Spool.

This projector uses 3 lasers, each pixel is lit up individually, but does it so fast it creates a 10 lumen picture.
Our friends needed a place to stick their Apple TV setup. This is a door mounted to the ceiling with braces intended for raised kitchen counter tops.
This projector was built in Mallala by WR Garrett, and used at Mallala RAAF Base for plane silhouette identification.

One of only 15 of these Art Deco Odeon cinemas surviving in the country, the Byron in Hucknall is disused upstairs. It was divided from a full height cinema in 1967 with the stalls being converted to a bingo, which still continues today. The 404 seat cinema closed in 2007 and sits silently in the dark.
