A coastal resiliency project, funded by the Chesapeake and Atlantic Coastal Bays Trust Fund, aims to reduce shoreline erosion on a tidal marsh area located on the west side of the Verrazano Bridge, adjacent to the park’s boat ramp and fishing pier.
The project seeks to construct a series of 10 headland structures to dissipate wave energy created during large coastal storm events. The nature-based structures will consist of boulders, cobble and clean sand, which will then be planted with native wetland vegetation.

A small project consisting of setting up a shoot with random passersby and getting them to pull a face.

Beginning the project of remodeling a double-wide modular home. The house I live in.
My mother recently became its owner after my grandparents recently passed away, and it needs some work.
So, I drafted a 3D model of it in SketchUp, using HUD housing codes for wall stud spacing, ceiling joist spacing, plus using visual references.
Special thanks to Jason Zeeb for all the cool parts for this project. He provided the rear reflector, chainguard, sprocket cover, grips and hub cleaners.

Yeoman 1st Class Joel De Los Santos, from Forward Operating Location (FOL) Comalapa, sits on a swing with children orphanage while they play with gifts they received during a community relation project at the "Hogar Del Nino‚" Orphanage in San Salvador, El Salvador. The toys were part of a Project Handclasp donation sent to FOL Comalapa for community relations projects.

August Theme - Nature/Landscape
A great ride but sadly it was through a vast area of wildfire burnt forest. You can see the burn on the other side of the Nicola River which is behind my bike.
It is twofold here. She is resolved to find what she is looking for, and I am resolved to get more artistic shots this year. She was so intent and has the sweetest face. I got to babysit this morning while her mom had a pregnancy check up. We are expecting 3 more

The group used blue eco-friendly water-based paint, chalk lines and flags to show the projected future high tides in three Norfolk locations. This will demonstrate where the water reaches on Sunday's highest tide of the year, known as a King Tide.
The Blue Line Project is a collaboration between ODU, the City of Norfolk and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), supported by the Commonwealth Center for Recurrent Flooding Resiliency (CCRFR) and the University's Institute for Coastal Adaptation and Resilience (ICAR).
Wake Forest University students and the Volunteer Service Corps host Project Pumpkin on Hearn Plaza on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Each year more than 1,000 children from local agencies are escorted to the Reynolda campus where students and faculty combine to provide a safe environment for trick-or-treating, carnival games, clowns, and entertainment.
For over a year now, Elisa and I have been looking out for opportunities to contribute to our Found Shadow Project. Here are some of the results.
We set up these rules for the project:
1. Only 'found' shadows could be entered in the project (nothing is staged!).
2. The object casting the shadow must be out of frame.
3. Only available light, natural or otherwise. may be used.

When I started the Brighton Pub Project, this pub was called the Kings Arms. It's opposite the Quens Arms on George Street, and there was a bit of a King / Queen thing going on with the names. But this is Brighton, and nothing stays the same for too long, so now it's called Project 56. I don't know about you, but I go to a Pub normall. Sometimes I go to a bar for a drink. I never go to a Project for a drink though.
Project Impact is a youth event where they go around to homes in our area and help under priveledged or elderly residences out with painting, yard work etc.
This is a mailer that will be sent out to all the youth at the church.
