The broad colour spectrum of the early morning sunlight, splashed across the carpet, skirting board and wall. I think that it is the physicist in me that takes delight in photographing these extremely colourful but short lived ephemeral effects!

PureShot- A series of 3 images were taken with different exposure settings.

ProHDR - Combined 2 of the 3 images to produce a single HDR output.

Handy Photo - Retouched a few small blemishes.

Frontview - Applied a trapezoidal crop to change the apparent perspective.

Laminar - Cropped to 3:4 format and resized back to the original 2448 x 3264 pixels.

ExifEditor - EXIF data from the original photograph transferred to the final image.

And before you start thinking I finally got a bird picture, well I didn't take this. My colleague, Ling, sent this to me over the weekend. Apparently, her boyfriend and her helped me 'chase' down a bird just to get a bird shot.

PaintShop Pro X5 - Digital camera speckle noise attenuated (40% fine, medium, and large scale, 60% blend). Smart Photo Fix adjustments applied with modified settings.

(ProHDR did a first class job of capturing the detail under the difficult conditions - the sculpture was poorly lit from this side and the building opposite was very bright.)

ProHDR - The ProHDR app was used to acquire and combine a pair of images.

Perspective - Image distorted and cropped to change the apparent perspective.

Laminar - Image cropped maintaining the original 3:4 aspect ratio and then resized to 2448 x 3264 pixels.

Snapseed - Structure and Ambience filters applied. Overall lighting adjustments carried out. Selective lighting adjustments also carried out.

Photoshop Express - Noise reduction and Sharpening filters applied with manual settings.

ExifEditor - EXIF data from the original photograph transferred to the final image.

Shot and edited on the iPhone 4 using ProHDR (3 exposures) and Tilt-shift Generator for the miniature effect. Cropped and enhanced with PhotoForge. The iPhone 4 camera lens has a focal length equivalent to 30mm on film, which is kinda cool for landscape and architecture.
