This was from a shop window in Juneau, AK. It may have been called the Russia House, but I don't remember for sure. Posted for Smile on Saturday theme: sequence/progression. Post-processed to help the dolls stand out from the cluttered background and with processing erased from the dolls.

Four wild carrot (or Queen Anne’s Lace) flowers from our garden in stages from flower towards seed head.

HSoS 😊

It's going to be a long week! Gutted I"ll be working tomorrow and unlikely to get a photo or 50 of the old dears

Smile on Saturday!:-)

4 photos prises le même jour sur le même arbuste. 4 photos taken the same day on the same tree.

Colorful stools at the park, progressing in size and changing in colors.

Canna from flower to seed, a simple necessity but complex in process.

As promised, the changed "Autumn".

The name of this tessellation is "Pumpkin", because the irregular hexagon reminds me of a pumpkin, in an abstract way ;-))

The photo shows this origami-tessellation in daylight.

As you can see, it is not completely flat, maybe I should glue it....

It is just one tessellation, but you see both sides.

Here you can see the 'backlit-version' ;-))

I folded "Pumpkin" from yellow Tant-paper, hexagon 33cm, grid 1:64".

"An unidentified flying starflower has been detected in orbit around earth last night. So far, it didn't responded to any contact attempt. We will keep you informed", according to the Newspaper O-Ri_G_A-Mi.

I folded one molecule from my origami tessellation 'Dance' to create this "Origami Starflower". It is 3D shaped, hope you can see it.

Mostly I start with showing first just one molecule and then a larger tessellation with more molecules connected in some way or another. Must be because I like the irregular hexagon shape so much ;-))

Grid 1:24, hexagon 18cm, hand made paper.

Developmental stages of the Asian ladybeetle (Harmonia axyridis).

For "Smile on Saturday" ; theme : "sequence/progression".

This is the inside of the beautiful corten steel fire we've enjoyed this summer and autumn. The patina being created inside is rather beautiful, like a work of art. Pity about the poor photo quality but I liked the colours and gradients.

This image shows a progression of Size, Height, and Value.......

Millennium Tower, San Francisco.

Olympus EM1 + Panasonic 35-100mm.

Often when I use glass balls in a photograph I include too much of my lounge or myself in the picture, this time I wrapped shiny gift wrap round the table to prevent this. It may be possible to see something in the large globe but that is slightly out of focus.

Three sculptures by artist Thaddeus Mosley at Rockefeller Center "Illusory Progression", "True To Myth" and "Rhizogenic Rhythms"

I had hard time in choosing the color of my latest origami-tessellation "Starry Flowerbed"…… I uploaded yesterday the mixed color version. But I find the other colors also interesting, because they emphasize a different aspect of this tessellation, at least in my eyes……. so I decided to show you all of them…

Folded with "Anett-Paper', grid 1:96, hexagon 43cm.

The final size 20cm.
