The 15th GLOBE Annual Meeting was held in Bethesda, Maryland, on July 17 – 22, 2011.
The theme of this year's meeting was "Expanding International Perspectives About Climate." More than 180 teachers, scientists and GLOBE community members from 46 countries (including representatives from 26 U.S. and the District of Columbia) took part in the welcoming events, informative presentations, networking sessions, poster presentations and field studies over the course of the 5-day event.

Gateway's Culinary Arts program students teamed up with Tremper high school students for a Chili Cook Off on the Racine Campus on Friday, December 2, 2016. Students prepared and presented their creations for a panel of judges who had the pleasure of sampling each team's creative interpretation of their chili recipe.
Riverfront Adventure is a hands-on training program used to teach leadership, communication, problem solving, goal setting, change management and conflict resolution skills through activities that foster teamwork, build confidence, and improve self-esteem.
