Background info:
The Global Forum for the GEF Integrated Programs takes place from 13th to 17th April 2026 at the United Nations Office in Nairobi, Kenya.
Convened by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Forum will bring together the entire GEF partnership to exchange experiences, share lessons, and strengthen collaboration around integrated programming.
The 2026 Forum will explore how GEF Integrated Programs are moving from design to implementation and measurable impact.
Through a dynamic mix of plenary discussions, interactive exchanges, learning sessions, and networking opportunities, participants will:
Reflect on progress achieved under GEF-6, GEF-7, and GEF-8 Integrated Programs
Share innovations, challenges, and emerging good practices
Identify insights to inform future GEF programming and investment strategies
The Forum is open exclusively to GEF Agencies, countries, and partners engaged in the GEF Integrated Programs. Participation will be based on responses to the Call for Contributions issued to agencies and countries.
