Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer le programme du contre-salon : Anti-Satory, la semaine du désarmement !
Celui-ci se tiendra du dimanche 16 au vendredi 21 juin à l’AERI, 57 rue Étienne Marcel, 93100 Montreuil, Métro Croix-de-Chavaux. Toutes les activités sont à prix libre.
Pour nous aider à tenir l'organisation de ce salon, nous aurons besoin de bras pour tenir les tables, porter des chaises... Si vous avez la possibilité de donner un coup de main, n'hésitez pas à nous écrire !

In 2018 the ESCP Europe London Campus was delighted to welcome 45 students from IIM Lucknow (www.iiml.ac.in). They spent 7 weeks with us training on the International Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX). These photos are from their last day, when we bid a fond farewell with a sunny graduation day on campus.

This page includes portraits of the Mayor and Mayoress of Keighley, Alderman John Aked Taylor and his wife, and a list of guarantors. The Mayor served as President of the society for his time in office. His father, Percy Taylor, had been chairman of the society for many years. The Mayor and Mayoress attended the Saturday evening performance alongside Sir Donald Horsfall and Lady Horsfall.
The 44-page programme was printed by The Keighley Printers Ltd. of High Street, Keighley. The programme is part of the Joy Rundle Collection, donated by Jane Eaman and Mark Rundle in 2023.

REPORT ON THE WORKSHOP CONDUCTED FOR THE BIS ARTISAN TRAINING PROGRAMME.
The programme was conducted on the 19th and 20th of January 2012. It consisted of a group of twenty two goldsmiths.
The morning session comprised of inauguration of the programme by the BIS Director Scientist-'E' & Head, Marks – II, Dr. S.L. Palkar, Col. S.K.Arora Head of IIGJ. Emphasis was laid on the failures in hallmarking. They were explained in detail how to avoid failures in hallmarking. This was done through audio visual presentations by Mr. Uttamkumar Das, Faculty IIGJ.
The next day practicals continued. One type of hard cadmium free solder was made for 22k gold. The other solder was a soft solder made by adding indium. The alloy of 22k purity was made. Mathematics involved in the jewellery trade for estimating the amount of metal needed was explained. Working with different metals was also explained.
The alloy was formed into a tube and collets were made. The assembly of collets was soldered. This demonstrated the step soldering procedure in detail for the product.
Later the artisans were shown the new techniques of laser welding and the use of computers in designing and making jewellery.
After the session they were addressed by the Dr. S.L. Palkar, HOI of IIGJ Col. S. K. Arora, and he closed the seminar by thanking the members who actively participated in the workshop.
Finally they gave their feedback to IIGJ. Many of the artisans expressed their interest to do some of the courses at IIGJ either at a personal level or through their sons or daughters. The programme was conducted by the faculty of IIGJ comprising of Mr. Uttamkumar Das.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks from the participating members.

Dans le cadre du programme des Rangers juniors canadiens, la Patrouille de Inukjuak, qui est située au Nunavik dans la province du Québec, s'est entrainée pendant la fin de semaine du 19 et 20 janvier 2013.
Le Programme des Rangers juniors canadiens a pour but de promouvoir les cultures et les modes de vie traditionnels ainsi que les habiletés des Rangers en offrant un large éventail d'activités structurées à des jeunes de communautés éloignées et isolées.
Sous la supervision des Rangers canadiens, ces jeunes Canadiens âgés de 12 à 18 ans deviennent des citoyens actifs et des membres engagés de leur communauté.

The Inukjuak Junior Canadian Ranger Patrol, located in Nunavik, province of Quebec, conducted a training activity during the weekend of January 19 and 20, 2013.
The aim of the Junior Canadian Rangers Programme is to promote traditional cultures and lifestyles, including Rangers skills by offering a variety of structured activities to young people living in remote and isolated communities.
Under the supervision of the Canadian Rangers, these young Canadians (ages 12 to 18) become active and engaged citizens of their local communities.
