Participants of the Associate Programme 2025 listen to welcome remarks by OPCW Director-General Ambassador Fernando Arias during the Closing Ceremony, held at the OPCW Centre for Chemistry and Technology in Nootdorp on 25 September 2025.
The Associate Programme 2025 accommodates 31 participants from developing and transitioning economies to strengthen their knowledge and skills on the Convention. It aims to build expertise in chemical engineering, safety, and security within the context of the chemical industry.

The current UNDP programme cycle expires at the end of 2015, and a new UNDP Country Programme covering the period from 2016 to 2020 has been drafted. The new Country Programme is based on the United Nations – Azerbaijan Partnership Framework (UNAPF) and aligned with the priorities of the Azerbaijan: Vision 2020 national development strategy.
As part of the national consultative process, UNDP plans to present the draft Country Programme for discussion with the government partners, to validate the expected results and outputs and agree on the implementation arrangements. A national workshop was organized on 12 March 2015. Based on the comments and feedback from the Government, UNDP will finalize the Country Programme and submit it for review and approval by the UNDP Executive Board.
