The 2018 UNEVOC TVET Leadership Programme was launched today at the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre, Bonn. 19 mid- to senior-level TVET leaders from UNEVOC Centres and other institutions from 18 countries around the world are participating in the programme. The programme aims to enable the participants to hone their leadership skills through nine modules guided by key international experts in a highly engaging environment.

The British High Commission and partners launched Phase III of their Gender Equality Programme at a dissemination seminar in New Delhi on Thursday, 4 October 2018. The workshop was attended by a unique gathering of factories, brands, workers and programme field personnel who shared learnings, insights and recommendations on how to improve safety and foster a culture of equality for women in India’s garment factories. Programme and orders of service for the October Devotion of the Portsmouth Ward of Society of Mary. Visitors were greeted with tea or coffee and biscuits in the morning. At noon there was a High Mass of Our Lady, Queen of Apostles followed by a Marian procession around the church. A full lunch (more like a banquet) was served in the screened-off western half of the nave, with a break for preparation for Benediction at 3:30 p.m. Visitors were also treated to tea and cake before departing. PASS has a ten year experience in working with community and environment. We are present in community problems, having concrete actions in
close collaboration with local authorities, communes and prefectures. We help in continuance the local authorities work to evident
community problems and propose effective interventions.

Part of a beermat marketing exercise I saw whilst in north Wales on Pauls' stag do. The beer mat is pushing a new programme 'A470' [a road that cuts across Wales] on S4C [Welsh Channel 4]. The flip side of the mat is here.
I like it - the illustration is great. I wish I'd kept the whole set of characters. It has added resonance because I got hideously lost on the A470 and resorted to asking strangers directions in the dark - only to get more lost. It's weird in north Wales.
