Bigger and simpler than ever before – those are among the promised virtues of the Horizon 2020 programme for research and innovation that the European Commission proposed formally last November.

Now comes the hard part: Winning acceptance for the plan from the Council and Parliament. This is a political process that will take most of the next two years; but already lines are being drawn in the sand.

The Science|Business Horizon 2020 Policy Bridge took place in Brussels on 27 March 2012.

- What are the key issues for debate in coming months?

- What are the preliminary soundings from the Member States and stakeholder groups?

- And when the shouting’s over in 2014, what can we hope for as the return on this investment?

Featuring:

- John Bell, Chef de Cabinet for Commissioner Geoghegan-Quinn, European Commission

- Jack Metthey, Director – Framework Programme and Interinstitutional Relations, DG Research, European Commission

Two children, a brother and sister, came to the programme "Antiques roadshow " (every sunday evening,BBC1) with their grandmothers old bear.

The two children drew all my attention in the way they sat there talking about grandma's bear. I forgot what the expert said about the bear

The Messiah - performed by Bournemouth University Music choir, orchestra and soloists, Sunday, 9th December, 2018.

All of the cosplayers on this are female and as they're going for the crown of "best cosplayer in Sweden 2015", most of the costumes are ridiculously fancy. That last one needed two guys holding her up as she "walked" around. This one was significantly more free-moving. I have to say, I've never seen anybody cosplay Quina from FF9 before.
