We are using a mixture of technology that isn't designed to play nice with each other. Assuming that students are using Excel, these are the steps to get your file out of Google Classroom and into Microsoft Excel. The tutorial that follows is designed for Excel, but I'll sprinkle in screenshots from other labs at my old school using Google Sheets so that students using this program get some help too.

This is one of the 6 wolf puppies from Polar Zoo the summer of 2008. They were part of a program getting to know people better, so we could be very close with them. Still, they were running a lot around, which made it quite difficult to make stil photos. For this picture I used my EF 70-200 F/4 at 70 mm, and I was quite close.

An online college degree program has the benefit of not holding a student hostage to some of the demands of a traditional college or university setting. Those who have a strong aversion to in-class oral presentations can avoid them while pursuing an online college degree. Also, students who are self0starters and enjoy working independently can avoid the group project class assignments that are often a part of traditional campus-based degree programs. Ingrid Dixon, one of the drivers of the Union United Church Meals on Wheels program, approaches the entrance of Résidence du Fort on 2101 Rene Levesque, in Montreal, QC, before making the first of two deliveries on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014.

(Julian McKenzie // JOUR 366)

The Meals on Wheels program is an extension of the church's food bank, which serves hundreds of needy people in the community of Little Burgundy. The church began giving out food to the needy in the 1950s, as started by Rev. Charles Este in the church's basement, before moving across the street years later.

The Meals on Wheels program gets food from other food banks in the city, including two that are documented in this photo documentary, New Hope, a senior citizens centre in Notre Dame de Grace, and Saint Columba House, a community space in Pointe-St. Charles.

New Hope has been in existence for 35 years, serving community lunches to seniors 50 years and over, and providing their own Meals-On-Wheels service to those in need. They offer art and craft classes, computer classes, and outreach to seniors.

Saint Columba House has worked with the Pointe St. Charles community for over 90 years, offering community lunches to elders, families, single parents, and kids. They have a day camp, and an after-school program, among other community programs.

A standard Tuesday afternoon for the Union United Church Meals on Wheels program is as follows. A driver leaves the church and picks up meals from either Saint Columba or New Hope, before delivering them to those in need. During this documentary, we made two stops to two elderly men who live in subsidized apartments, who pay a percentage of their income, or in their case, their pension, as rent.

Following the deliveries, the volunteer driver rejoins the rest of the church's food bank volunteers, as they receive their own supply of food, and package it in bags, before giving it to those in need.

As interesting as the backstories of these community spaces and food banks are, the people who get food each have their own story. From the single middle-aged man who gets by on welfare, to the schoolyard kids who can't afford the meal plan from their own school, food banks serve as more than simple food stops for "the working poor". Union United Church, New Hope and Saint Columba House each have volunteers, young and old, who help keep their establishments and conditions in tip-top shape, and each have their stories on why they continue to contribute to these organizations.

For the Belgian TV program " Fata Morgana" .

This program gets a celebrity to challenge a city or town . The challenged city gets 6 days to accomplish all the challeges given to it.

This week there were 5 challenges for the city of Zoersel.

1: make 1000 African masks and auction them of for charity before saturday morning

2: 200 women have to have their hair braided and walk 100m with a basket on their head

3:make a impressive map of Africa out of bottlecaps

4: 300 children have to represent the animals of Afrika

5:a minimum of 8000 people have to sing Bii Yama

today was friday and preparations were in full swing.

We took a look at the botlecaps and the masks.

Everything is done by volunteers. Getting bottlecaps in Belgium is not difficult ...we have so many breweries :)

They had way to many so I came home with a bucket full of caps ......that will be turned into a mosaic for the garden ...

I bid on the mask but don't know if I've won yet ...
