Our chair is a 3-Dimensional, abstract interpretation of a Mondrian painting. Its purpose is to be an aesthetically pleasing sculpture. Our inspiration came from Mondrian paintings and the process of transforming a 2-Dimensional artwork into a 3-Dimensional Form.
We really enjoy participating in art initiatives within the local community and contributing to the OCRI Breakfast Program.
Programming & Activities (PAC), Student Government Association (SGA), and the Office of Student Engagement hosted Fall Fast 2022 with free food, giveaways, and music!

En el marco del programa “50 Mil Mejores Casas”, 49 hogares vulnerables del municipio de Sitionuevo – Magdalena recibieron por parte de Prosperidad Social mejoramientos en sus viviendas los cuales consisten en arreglos de baños y cocinas principalmente.
El programa “50 Mil Mejores Casas” es un componente clave en la superación de la pobreza, además de las obras físicas en las viviendas el proyecto incluye la mejora en los hábitos alimenticios de las familias beneficiarias, a través de talleres de sostenibilidad y nutrición.
De acuerdo con Tatyana Orozco el mejoramiento de las viviendas de la población más pobre se hará en 250 municipios del país. “Mejorar las viviendas de Sitionuevo es darle a las familias una herramienta definitiva para su integración y su calidad de vida”.
Además en otros hogares que están participando del programa, se construirán unidades sanitarias y cocinas, de acuerdo a las necesidades determinadas por el grupo de profesionales de Prosperidad Social que visitó las casas focalizadas del municipio.
En el departamento de Magdalena 1.750 familias se han beneficiado con el programa “50 Mil Mejores Casas” en siete municipios con una inversión de $14.800 millones. / Feb. 04, 2016. (Fotografía Oficial Prosperidad Social / Emilio Aparicio Rodríguez).

The Seabiscuit program took place on August 2003 at Countryside.
Seabiscuit's former jockey lives locally and he described the world of thoroughbred racing in the 1930s when Seabiscuit was the “all-star” of all time. He shared a scrapbook filled with his racing career highlights and shared many memories. The library was filled to capacity that day.
