the ALDE group has started a visitors program
specifically targeted at young people (age +/- 16-21).
The aim is to offer an opportunity to youngsters, who do not have the connections or the means, to get acquainted with the EU institutions. The young adults will spend one
week in Brussels and get to know the working of the European Parliament, meet politicians and stakeholders.
The first group will visit from 13 to 16 April with a total number of 20 participants from 10 different countries. Each visit will run under a different "theme", this one being "Connecting Each Other". Therefore, we specifically want to incorporate topics relating
to Digital Agenda, Connected Continent, E-Society, Data protection, etc. into the program.

A Prefeitura de Ferraz de Vasconcelos recebeu equipe da Secretaria Estadual de Desenvolvimento Social (SEDS) para reunião de apresentação do Programa Família Paulista, uma semana após encontro que aconteceu na sede da secretaria em São Paulo. Primeira cidade que receberá o programa, Ferraz sediou a reunião na manhã desta terça-feira 1º de outubro no gabinete do prefeito.
Estiveram presentes na reunião diversas autoridades e técnicos. Entre eles, os secretários municipais Francisca Henrique de Oliveira (Promoção e Desenvolvimento Social), Silas Faria de Souza (Planejamento), Juracy Ferreira da Silva (Saúde), Valéria Eloy da Silva Kovac (Educação), Fabio Cruz de Sales (Esporte), Cláudia Braz Marzagão (Diretoria Regional de Desenvolvimento Social – Drads Leste), a arquiteta Natália Domingos Silva (Planejamento) e Elisabete Bento, presidente do Conselho Municipal de Assistência Social (CMAS) de Ferraz de Vasconcelos, além de representantes dos Centros de Referência da Assistência Social (CRAS). Todos receberam informações e diretrizes do Programa Família Paulista, cujo principal objetivo é o enfrentamento da pobreza extrema no estado de São Paulo.
Coordenadora de Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional (Cosan), Ligia Rosa Pimenta, com apoio da secretária adjunta de Inteligência e Conteúdo, Maria do Carmo Brant Carvalho, apresentou os critérios, a definição das diretrizes e da metodologia a serem aplicadas, os instrumentais a serem utilizados, bem como o apoio à gestão do programa no município e as formas de financiamento.

Program design for the art exhibition titled 'Asia–Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art 5'. The exhibition focused on contemporary art of Asia and the Pacific, including Australia.
Berklee’s Music Technology Innovation master’s program and the department of Música Electrónica y Electroacústica, Interactividad y Vídeo Creación of the UPV, in collaboration with Barcelona’s Universitat Pompeu Fabra, invited computer music pioneer John Chowning to Spain for a lecture and performance as part of a daylong event celebrating the creative confluence of music and technology. The first ever Vox Festival was held June 4th at UPV in Valencia.
