"Roadrunner Profile" by Patti Deters. A Greater Roadrunner (Geococcyx californianus) bird is photographed i profile up close. Known for their speed and agility, these terrestrial cuckoos are native to the deserts and scrublands of the southwestern United States and Mexico. Former Borders Profile 20370 has been repainted allover white. Note the use of bus fleetnumbers on the side and rear while the front has the smaller coach transfers.

Funny how different a hummingbird can look from one minute to the next. At the feeder, they can look like a lean, mean flying machine, but hunkered down on a leaf they can look like little ball of fluff with a beak.
I liked the profile of two unit trains side by side at the north end of CN's Champaign Yard. The image was made from a bridge carrying East Olympian Drive over the yard.
All people featured in the project are part of my everyday life, ranging from close friends to passers-by.

The Profile fleet were apparently repainted white to improve their appearance for the rail replacement contract. Some were very shabby although there is nothing now to identify them as First vehicles and the use of B10BLE 62149 (seen behind 20302) still in aging Barbie colours defeats this. Also odd that the bus fleet had their displays updated to show the rail replacement but not the coach fleet with the Profile still programmed for the Borders area.
