Character sketch based somewhat on a photo. I looked at the picture quite a few times before I decided he could be rearing back in strong disagreement or disapproval. Certainly not the friendliest face, although such crabby expressions are not at all uncommon. Drawn with the brush tool in Adobe Ideas.
3 Feb. 2013, Sunday evening. I've replaced this with a slightly revised framed version in which the man's expression is not so severe.
I have the iPad first generation so the amazing new features in Procreate are unavailable to me. However, my boyfriend has the iPad 2! Wow! Fantastic stuff. Emailed the image to myself. Image from my imagination.
Our scheduled model canceled. So we sat in a circle an drew each other. Theses were all done with #Procreate on my iPad.

This week has been rather busy with “Art work“. I’ve also been ill. I do not think there’s a correlation between the two but…. This is an entry into the daily drawing for “draw or die”. The prompt was reference to a song in the Rocky IV movie: “Ain’t no easy way out”. I had to do some research to find this song. I don’t recall ever seeing the movie just little snippets of it. The time period would’ve been when I was deployed at sea. Unlike some of the other songs from the Rocky movies, this one never caught attention I guess.
