This image was made for a feature on mobileartistry on Instagram.this was the little text that came with it.
This idea came from the fact that I have been doing self portraits. It's a reflection on ego and beauty nowadays. I made my eyes and mouth bigger on elasticam on what looked like a clowny way. The surprise is that I ended up looking like a plastic beauty which is what we see a lot nowadays on tv, tabloid, and magazines. I then added the textures on procreate. Ran it through luminance and then photo fx.
The result almost look like it could be in a magazine which is funny because its supposed to be grotesque.
About me. My parents were from Argentina. they were both artists (photographer and dancer) and moved to paris where I was born and raised. I found my love and a home in Los Angeles. My obsessions are my family and my iPhone photos. Editing is what I do for fun. It's what keeps me sane through tough times. My meditation when I do it right. And what drives me crazy when I don't. My weapon of choice is the iPhone 5, and the iPad since I discovered procreate.
Painted on an iPad using Procreate. I used a custom brush for the fur work and I think it took around 2 months of infrequent work.

This is an iPad painting, made with a beta version of iColorama, and Procreate.
It was made in honor of a dear woman, who was a mentor, advisor, comforter, and often a mother to me, throughout my life.
I worked from a photograph sent by her daughter, Tevlig Pearson, and from my heart, which is full of gratitude.

Annual horseshoe crab spawning along Delaware Bay isn’t always about migrating shorebirds. It is also a perfect time to jump on someone else’s back and have some fun 🙈😝
