I am writing a paper that was supposed to compare rural and urban images of the Virgin Mary in New Spain. Oops, not much to say on that topic. Which means I am writing a paper on "Huh, isn't it odd that there are no differences between rural and urban images of the Virgin Mary in New Spain?!?"
I want to call it "I Saw You in a Churro: Marian Apparitions in Colonial Mexico" *
*Michelle thought of the churro thing.

so far all templates used and digital cardstock are the work of Emily Powers at www.oscraps.com/shop/home.php?cat=359&treem=1

Yellow grits from Adluh flour company in Columbia SC, with local cabbage, corn and beans (both from the back yard), "seasoned" with just a touch of my homemade creme fraiche. Charlie poached the egg on top--we're trying different methods to see which one we like the best. this was from the Julia Child boil a second before cracking method. Doesn't look too pretty.
