because if i did get around to weeding, i would've probably missed this; a wildpoppy growing in my front yard
Who procrastinates doing the laundry? Yep, i'm that chic.
i told my sister yesterday that i only procrastinate two things. i lied since i procrastinate four things.
In no particular order . . .
1. Getting ready for the PD meetings I host for instructors once a month. This is why I can often be seen on the Tuesday night before working waaaaayyy late
2. Going to the gym on days when I'm home/in the office all day. Weirdly, when i have a flexible schedule is when i'm in most danger of skipping altogether. i can be found all day saying, "Oh, i'll go at 10." "i'll go at lunch" . . . and before you know it it's 6:30 or 7!
3. Taking out the recycling. Who knows why. Obviously I have to take the trash out . . . the recycling just doesn't seem to come along for the trip
4. Doing laundry. Ugh. It is not uncommon for me to do two weeks of laundry at once and then leave the laundry in the dryer and just take out what i need. i'm trying to break THAT habit, but then you get what you see before you . . . a massive need to fold. Which i hate even more!
i once went out and bought new underwear rather than do laundry. i mean, i was working four 80 hour weeks in a row, and my choice was to get home at 11 and get up at 4 to do laundry OR go to Walgreens and get more undies . . . but still. I'M THAT CHIC!!!

Actually, I haven't been procrastinating or slacking off at all. I'm going on vacation in 2 months. No time to slack off!

I'm still slowly plugging away at a recent wedding shoot I did, and so this post is just a mini break from that. This was shot way back in April of this year, just before we went on our 3 month trip. Photos from that trip are slowly, ever so slowly, going to make there way onto my flickr stream...

Secret 7 of 30: I procrastinate like it's my job.
It's so much better if you look here.
It's the truth. all I ever do is procrastinate. I know the picture doesn't look like it would match the secret, but it does because while taking this, I was procrastinating. Even though I'm on spring break now I was going to do some homework. Every break, I leave it all until the last night. This time I have been trying to do some homework, but it hasn't happened so far. Maybe after this....One time I had to write an essay, and I had basically nothing done for it. It was the night before it was due, thankfully it was a Sunday. But all Sunday I procrastinated. That was the worst essay I've ever written, and the worst grade I've ever gotten on an essay.
This seemed to be the only picture out of all the ones I took today that I kind of liked, and originally my eyes were in the picture, and when I looked at them I thought they were looking outside. But when I looked again I realized they were looking sideways, and they looked creepy, and I got creeped out,so I just cropped them out.
This sweatshirt used to be my favorite sweatshirt of all time, and then I stopped wearing it. I don't remember why, but I just did...My mom and I had matching ones and then the child size didn't fit me so she gave me hers. I haven't worn it in forever...
I talk too much. Bye.
I obsess about the Condor Heroes roughly once or twice a year--usually when I have so much proverbial crap to shovel in real life that I hardly even know how to make a dent.
I do appreciate the on-location shooting, the special effects, and other improvements of the 2003 production. They've taken out quite a bit of the cheesiness, silliness, and romantic nonsense--and, it may even be more closely adapted to Jing Yung's novel. However, the new version (compared to the 1983 TVB series) seems so flat, as if they've also just taken the character out of the characters. It's no fun.
I hear they're making a 2007 remake.
Ooooh, now available is the 1983 series available on DVD with English subtitles. Woohoo! LOCH 1983
An animation about procrastination,
taking a comedic view of the mice testing with a game like animation having to pass the level procrastination. While one mouse takes the easy route to get the the other mouse/ or player takes the harder route through the hosue which takes longer, as would procrastination in everyones lifes. This is just a preview of the 2 minute production.
Wojis Procrastinator = (Coryanthes macrantha x Stanhopea tigrina)
Strong, very nice scent. Jasmine primarily, with some of the Stanhopea sweet waxy scent, and just a bit of pine as well. Part of a set on Coryhopea hybrids. Click through for much more.

Here we see the hypochile, which is morphologically intermediate between Stanhopea and Coryanthes. The open portion, terminating the hypochile, is extended away from the junction with the ovary by a 'bridge', as in Coryhopea, but this bridge is comparatively shorter and wider. Stanhopea, by contrast, has the open portion joined directly to the ovary. Compare:

Here we also see bumps on the back of the hypochile terminus. I assume these are an incomplete form of the 'ribs' on Coryanthes macrantha; absent in Stanhopea. These appear on the part of the mesochile which connects to the 'bridge' of the hypochile under the 'helmet' of the hypochile terminus.
I'm not very creative in my procrastination techniques. Sorry but I'm
limited to the things right in front of me. Next up: salt & pepper

This is what I've been staring at for the past few hours, trying to summon the energy to do some work or the inspiration to procrastinate properly by going out and taking loads of photos. Sadly, neither happened, and I'm still sitting here, staring. Bah.
Tapping into the river of the space-time continuum has never been easier than with this handy little device!* Using a procrastinator (or a standing cylinder on an axle) one can "wind in" or "wind out" time by rolling the cylinder.
Need more time to spend with your best friend? Or at the comic convention? Or do you want to speed through the time you have to wait before a cake is ready? This necklace can help*!
I find that cats are excellent examples of how procrastinators work, as they somehow manage to stretch time a great deal, but not when they're sleeping (which is why they seem to sleep so much). Which is why this procrastinator is decorated with a cute cat charm.
* Note: Necklace does not actually control time.
