Retrato de mi abuelo (yo le digo guelo :)

Playing with the Hemesh and Convex Hull by Lee Byrons library. Starting Point is the Hemesh Voronoi example. The voronoi cells are subdivided and then slices of the vertices are sent to the convex hull algorithm.

 

They are abviously inspired by jtnimoys awesome work for the tron movie.

Spent a lot of today working on some of the photos I took on the cruise. there will be lots of processing for the next few weeks.

Still exploring the beauty of 4x5 film... I processed this with some really old/overused C41 chemical. I'm mixing some new chemical up next week for sure!

i'm about 70% convinced that i'm learning how to huff chemicals in black and white photo instead of how to make pictures.

I finally finished sanding, priming and painting the extra large craft table I made for my studio. I absolutely love it - large work space, shelving units for storage underneath, and much better looking then the ratty old tables that used to occupy this space! My inspiration came from the site everyone is talking about, Pinterest!

Outline art work with Molotow black ink and paint brush along with other various sizes of Molotow markers for detail.

 

Really honoured and stoked to be invited by Infiniti Canada to paint my illustration work on the brand new ‎Infiniti Q50 tomorrow to help ring in the Chinese new year at the Queen Elizabeth Plaza in Vancouver. Feb 19 - 21st.

A pretty visualization of the gaps between the prime numbers, programmed with Processing.

I have a previous post of the file basically as shot. Here I have adjusted curves and levels. I have a tendency to go for too much contrast. Thoughts welcome. Preference?
