"My Favourite Record" Oh no, look out - Happy Mondays fans causing trouble. The woman in the skirt came over from the press area to try and move them along.
Pictures from the WOMAD Procession which snakes through the festival at the end of Sunday afternoon. This is the chance for the children, their families and the helpers to show off the wonderful costumes, masks, music instrument and models they have spent the week making in 'The World of Kinds' area. Lots of charities get involved, as do some of the performers. Look out for the Dohls of Jaipur, The Bollywood Band and Beatroots.

The procession to the Sacred Circle is led by a warrior carrying an American flag. The word powwow comes from the Algonquian word that means "for gathering of medicine men and spiritual leaders in a curing ceremony." (brochure from 32nd Annual Baltimore American Indian Center POWWOW). I have to say it was a therapeutic experience for me.

A procession of giant figures makes it's way along the Nieuwlandstraat in Tilburg. This one I believe was the giant from Udenhout.
