Torchlight procession, Edinburgh's Hogmanay, Vicky and friends on the Royal Mile before the start.
I'm amazed the health & safety people let people have this much fun - the wax torches are lit by blowtorches stationed along the side. There was a breeze, and the air was full of flying cinders and specks of hot wax. Some of the footpaths were slick with ice. Big, big fun!
