There is a funeral home that makes coffin across the street from the grandparent's house. This is probably the 2nd or 3rd funeral that I have seen since I started spending time at their house. Most people don't have cars, so they all pile in the back of trucks to have the funeral procession.
After the initial rituals in the river bed, the devotees start on a procession to the Temple in their village.

Processione della Madonna del Monte Carmelo.
Quel profondo sud pieno di tradizione e cultura,dove si incontra ancora il passato che non si vuol dimenticare.
In mezzo ad una natura incontaminata la statua della Vergine ricoperta di oro appartenente al paese e ai devoti viene portata in spalla da carmelitani.
