This art work is inspired by Minerva Cuervas. She likes to show corruption in society through manipulation of common items found in advertising. The art strategy is depiction, because they will be drawing real candy bars. The content connection is current events thing in with the immigrant movement.
I decided to play around with some software filters to try to make an antiqued looking shot of the Olympia.
This is a process like developing slide film in chemicals for print negatives. It's a process I like a lot as it gives great contrast, reduced saturation and cool colour casts.
