We did a problem that involved a projectile motion situation where an electrostatic force meant that there was a horizontal acceleration and a gravitational force meant that there was a vertical one. (See for example 1998 AP Physics B № 2.)
Unlike the projectile motion problems we're used to, where the object follows a parabolic path, when there's constant acceleration in both dimensions it seems to follow a linear path. We can break down two dimensional motion into horizontal and vertical motion diagrams, as seen here (To see this produced in real time, I highly recommend PSSC's Free Fall and Projectile Motion, www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRa_Eh9mv9Y, from 11:50 to 13:56)
Because in both dimensions position has a quadratic time dependence when there's horizontal acceleration, the resultant position in two dimensions changes linearly rather than parabolically.

Problem- 3 tab shingle one layer only- shingles not lined up properly when installed and exposure under tabs
Leak 6’ from bottom of roof- ½”-3/4” exposure of shingles tab and water touching wood -roof deck from snow and ice pushing up. Many rusted nails
Tarred under many tabs where the water touching wood.
Leak area areas patched under tabs but not a perm fix
Water was also pouring into tabs as he has plank decking not roof deck sheets or boards and water in cracks in every plank of wood.
Couldn’t pull up every tab and seal or would have been there all day
Perm fix:
Will need underlayment under shingles- will experience more leaks until roof is replaced based on condition and new roof is required asap and Spring is urgent
When replacement is done the roof wood planks need to be replaced with ¾” plywood for roof deck with underlayment and re shingled.
i was parked next to this car while waiting for the oldest child at school. i noticed a bucket hanging in the window. on closer inspection i saw the bucket was 1/4 way full of water. they took the time to rig up a bucket but couldn't take 2 minutes to run some silicone along the seal? some people....

Cause & Solution: Film was fogged or underexposed. Avoid exposing undeveloped film to bright light. Check ISO setting on camera or light meter.
