I guess while girls bring their gossip sessions to cafes and young men to bars/pubs, the elderly folks do it right at their doorstep. They say "The Best Camera is the one that's with you", I think it's more like "The Best Complain Buddy is the one that stays near you".

After a heavy rain, I noticed the reflections in the puddles on my swimming pool's cover. Shot with iPhone 6 in ProHDR with a little extra adjustment in Snapseed and TouchRetouch, to remove the power lines.

昔は集落があったが、台風により多数の死者を出して壊滅的な被害を受けましたが、その後伝統工芸の体験などができる場所として甦りました。20軒ほど茅葺き屋根の家が再現されています。

my cousin and his wife are in town. visiting from norway. so we have been playing tourist and showing them around a bit. couldn't resist doing this :)
and it's a fence and it's friday! cheers. was almost going to save this for tomorrow.. being that it so cliche and all... but i was in the mood to post it now.
I'm always worried when I see elders like him on a machine like that. What if the machine runs out of juice in the middle of the road? Do they have spare batts? Honestly not all drivers are nice enough to wait or even get off their fancy cars to help elders like him if ever something like that happens. That's how sad it is.
