Twirls are probably getting passe now but I've done so many, I thought I post one again. I see so many things in this one - what do you see?
Woolsthorpe Manor tells the story of Newton's time at Woolsthorpe, from his birth and childhood to the discoveries of his Year of Wonders. In the 17th century manor house you can stand in the room where he used a prism to split sunlight into the colours of the rainbow, exploring the nature of light. From the window you can see the apple tree in the orchard which inspired his theory of gravity.

This lovely prism hangs on the bottom of my crystal wind chime.
I have a prism that is 3"diameter of which this is a part. I placed it atop a rainbow-coloured Slinky ,on my rainbow background paper.
There were all sorts of abstract patterns to choose from !
I have a 'fade correction' tool in my PSP and used it to make the colours 'pop'.

The Falkirk Wheel is a rotating boat lift in Tamfourhill, Falkirk, in central Scotland, connecting the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal. It reconnects the two canals for the first time since the 1930s. It opened in 2002 as part of the Millennium Link project.

This is my first photo in a new short series within a prism. This world can be strange. Sometimes it is black and white, sometimes colorful. It is always filled with life and light no matter the pathways we follow.
