The winter sun can make photography tricky at this time of year with glare and shadows as evidenced by Stagecoach Devon 53611 (KX58 NCD), a one-time United Counties Volvo B9R with Plaxton Panther bodywork, on a South West Falcon service to Bristol.
This coach carries a version of standard Stagecoach livery using Falcon colours allowing it to deputise when needed for the usual Plaxton Elites. It’s a shame that Somerset County Council isn’t capable of erecting street-lamps that actually stand up straight.

Just pretending I’m on Sydney Harbour in 1805 and doing a little sketch. There’s some drawings of Sydney from that time, so if I was there and had a tiny moment to sketch, how would I draw the Governor’s house?

I don't show this pretending it's my art, but I must admit that it's pretty difficult to reproduce paintings in low incandescent light that are prone to glare and I'll take credit for the post processing.
Sooo I updated my Great Pretender Lilith wannabe a bit:
- eyebrows are one tone darker and black (Not pretending had them brown);
- lips are one tone darker, same color;
- added some shine to the lips;
- added white eyeshadow above eyes, I wanted it to be clear white, but since I applied paint over original it turned a bit blueish;
- changed eyes color to sea foam green, originally she had light blue eyes.
- eyeshadow below eyebrows was light violet, since GP has light pink eyeshadow I also changed that.
What gives away this is not real GP:
- original does not have light reflection dots on her eyes, which Not Pretending has; and
- black details on center of her lips, GP has them only on the corners (which I added previously).

On our first trip ever to Big Bend on the tour bus, our first night was spent at the Gage in Marathon.
We were smitten, and for the next five trips, we would spend two nights at the Gage each trip. The Gage finally priced itself out of our budget, and the wonderful restaurant lost some of its appeal, so we don't stop there any more.
It still has an appeal, however. An oasis in the Chihuahuan Desert. This addition to the historic hotel is known as "Los Portales".

I did try to be serious, but I couldn't keep it up for long. :))
The camera is a Lomography Fisheye, which could be used, but would produce horrible images, so I wouldn't try! It doesn't belong in my vintage collection, but I bought it because I thought it would make a fun prop.
Let's just pretend that my stocking top has slid down a bit and that it needs readjusting. That's the perfect excuse to show you what's underneath my ballgown skirt: endless layers of petticoat made of soft tulle, giving the skirt the volume it needs to look at its best. Well, and there's also a pair of legs and stockings to enjoy.
Contest! I have said this in a previous post, but you can make a Marvel/DC dream team with at least 10 members. To reiterate, some “rules” or guidelines are:
1. You can have up to 10 members
2. There are a few classes: Heavy Hitters, Skilled, Flight, Team Leader, and genius.
3. You don’t need a transportation unit.
4. You need at least one character for each class.
5. You can only choose one super hero universe. (Only Marvel or only DC)
6. The deadline is December 4th.
7. I’ll be judging by the originality of the roster.
8. You can use Mecabricks if you’d like. I prefer physical figs though.
The rewards are probably going to be shoutouts and choosing the topic of the next contest.

Week 31 theme is "Pretend". Every summer for 3 weeks we pretend this is home. With all the amenities of home we get to pretend what it would be like to live by the sea or deep in the wilderness.

I'm sick. Ta-da, the result of the goddamn bipolar Edmonton weather. I was getting so happy when it started being -1, and in the + temperatures. But nope, it had to drop down to -32 with the windchill. Everyone else being sick probably doesn't help too.
But that's the whole explanation to this picture - I've been making bracelets while I'm sick.
