Imagen que pretende mostrar la fuerza de los rayos solares al atardecer ya en febrero, mes en el que se dice que busca la sombra el perro. Los que descansaban ahi hace cuatro mil años estaban en un sitio muy bien preparado y valorado por sus descendientes. El sol no les faltaba a los pobres.
A la derecha de la imagen, en la lejanía, se muestra el mas importante dolmen de la Rioja Alavesa, el de la Txabola de la Hechicera. Una evidencia de la actividad pastoril que existía en la zona mucho antes de la llegada de la civilización cristiana.
Una vista amplia del sector oriental de la Rioja Alavesa, entre campos de cereal y viñedos, con detallada presencia de la cultura prehistórica, como atestiguan estos yacimientos megalíticos.

My favourite way to pretend it is spring is to buy some spring bulbs and have them bloom in January. As long as I don't look out the kitchen window, I can blissfully spend the morning thinking it is springtime. I need to practise taking photos of these Iris ... I am having trouble getting the lighting right.

When I returned home, Bella was in her furry bed, with her chin propped on the side of it as usual. I managed to take photos before she moved - but she kept looking at me then closing her eyes again to pretend she was still asleep. Sulking because lunch was late, perhaps. Happy Caturday!

There are actually whole houses made of cardboard in the Netherlands, for sale anywhere. They are treated with a special coating and reinforced here and there with pine. That's another kind of imagination....

Yep, here's Lola pretending to be the Great Sphinx of Giza. There is sand, check, she has the right pose, check, the lighthouse is barely a substitute for the great pyramids, so, no check but you can't blame her for trying!
I got a whole series of shots at this time using my 10-24mm wide angle lens - had great fun with it and even though there is some distortion I think that just adds to the craziness of it!
I'll probably post another in the future but for now she can have her moment of fantasy - we all need those! Have a fab week ahead friends
For some reason my 28-300mm lens hasn't sharply focussed on this lovely little Pied Butcherbird that has been around for the last few days. I decided to stick the shot up today for Wing Wednesday as he or she has been down pretending to be a Galah this afternoon, even trying a couple of seeds.
It doesn't seem to bother the Galahs and vice versa even during this afternoon's unusual overcrowded melee. I think they are all off early to Suncorp Stadium to watch the second game of the Rugby League State of Origin. The Galahs can't manage maroon so pink will have to be close enough!
