I’m not the best artist but thought I’d draw on these eggs, before they went in the cake mix I was making.

This was the view from the Cheese Press Stones high up on Keld Head Scar, looking South towards the distant Lancashire coastline.
I was out in the Yorkshire Dales with John Bleakley and we had ended up here late in the day, where we were treated to, more or less, constant displays of the suns rays in the distance, as the winter sun kept piercing the cloud cover.
I do admit this was'nt the best composition, but I tried to get the distant rays and the stones in the same shot. Such was the position of the rays, it made it difficult to get the two gigantic rocks separated sufficiently and in doing so they actually look quite small too.
Doors of Ye Olde Dolphin, Derby’s oldest pub dating back to 1580, firmly shut amid tier 4 COVID restrictions.
with packed timber on a full train in Güsen, on the railway from Berlin to Magdeburg. The white building in the back is the public house "At the railway", which shares the destiny of so many butchers, plumbers or bakers. A sign "closed - we are now pensioners" is the last farewell. Thanks to our government we got enough young men, but they are completely unfit for every work.

My skin's aching sore from friction past
Touch me softly make our kisses last
It's not your fault that I'm loved to my limit
I've had plenty so I know you're mine
If only a prayer would make your touch so I'd feel it
But I'd be wasting time

A panoramic view of a ruined olive press in Assos, Kefalonia.
This was made from nine images which I took hand-held, walking a few yards further up the street for each exposure. I used the level indicator in the Fuji X-T1 viewfinder to try and keep the camera level. I imported the RAW files to Lightroom and made basic adjustments to highlights and shadows, with the "Sync" option to keep the processing of the images the same. Lightroom wouldn't merge them successfully so I exported them as JPEGs and used Microsoft Image Composite Editor ("ICE") to merge them. It did a pretty good job considering the building is on a hill and the shots were all hand-held. ICE created an 148MB TIFF which I imported back into Lightroom for final tweaking and exported as a JPEG of "only" 84MB, so there should be plenty of detail in there!
Of course, it isn't "perfectly" stitched, but I think this adds something to the image.

Some of the machinery in that collapsed old wool mill looks like it was turned off at the end of a shift and left as it was, with bobbins still in place.
There was a basket of these bobbins sitting nearby.
