A panoramic view of a ruined olive press in Assos, Kefalonia.
This was made from nine images which I took hand-held, walking a few yards further up the street for each exposure. I used the level indicator in the Fuji X-T1 viewfinder to try and keep the camera level. I imported the RAW files to Lightroom and made basic adjustments to highlights and shadows, with the "Sync" option to keep the processing of the images the same. Lightroom wouldn't merge them successfully so I exported them as JPEGs and used Microsoft Image Composite Editor ("ICE") to merge them. It did a pretty good job considering the building is on a hill and the shots were all hand-held. ICE created an 148MB TIFF which I imported back into Lightroom for final tweaking and exported as a JPEG of "only" 84MB, so there should be plenty of detail in there!
Of course, it isn't "perfectly" stitched, but I think this adds something to the image.

Eisenbahnbau und Betriebsgesellschaft Pressnitztalbahn (PRESS) 140 050 is the former DB Cargo 140 833 that was overhauled in October 2017 and re-entered service thereafter. On 8 April 2018 this loco hauled an empty car train Emden - Falkenberg (Elster) and was captured at Ahlten.

Some of the machinery in that collapsed old wool mill looks like it was turned off at the end of a shift and left as it was, with bobbins still in place.
There was a basket of these bobbins sitting nearby.
Mash presses in one of the more modern areas of the former Molson Coors South Brewhouse, in Burton-apon-Trent. This site closed in early 2018 and is now being stripped out, this area, along with the more modern additions will soon be demolished.

Cambridge Street, Manchester
Plenty of info online but I’ve lifted a few key paragraphs courtesy of Dani Cole’s The Mill…
Originally built on the bank of the River Medlock in 1801, it was soon dwarfed by Birley’s Cotton Mill and Marsland’s Cotton Mill – two enormous mills that later became known as Chorlton Mills. In the early nineteenth century, this stretch of Chorlton-on-Medlock was a sight to behold: one of the engine rooms of the city’s industry, thronging with workers, vehicles and mess. In the 1830s, more than 2,000 people worked at Birley’s complex alone, suggesting it was the largest mill in Manchester. Three of the mills on Cambridge Street were connected by tram tunnels to allow them to move material between buildings unimpeded by the crowds outside.
The building now call Hotspur Press was the largest structure in the Medlock Mills complex, which was owned by a cotton baron called John Fairweather, and then by a series of his heirs in the following decades.
According to a map published in 1888, the building had by this point ended the first phase of its life making cotton, and was now a printing works, owned by the Percy Brothers Ltd. A brass sign bearing that company name is still in place next to one of the building’s doors.
It has been suggested that the name ‘Hotspur Press’ has connections with the popular boys’ comic the Hotspur, which ran from 1933 to 1959 and Henry Percy (‘Harry Hotspur’), the medieval knight who was the son of the 1st Earl of Northumberland during the Hundred Years’ War. Sadly, the former of these is not true, and the latter remains conjecture.
Wasn’t sure this place was still standing but apparently it’s been bought and is going to be redeveloped into even more trendy apartments.
This is a "selfie", for a duo project I have with the singer Live Maria Roggen. Will it work as a press photo?
seghe e pugnette e BACILARE(1) poco poco
impara come noi altri a fregarli

A little story there : 2 herds , a river and a fence on ONE side of the river . We observed them for a while and realized the B&W Holsteins came across the river to visit their cousins Salers : a rather unexpected and amusing scene !
