The Digital Docent provides users with a variety of content and information about the refuge and the land. Visitors can explore an interactive map of the refuge and surrounding areas, learn about how the refuge was founded and current conservation efforts it is undertaking, and read about those working hard on these efforts every day. They can also easily access information about weather conditions, upcoming events and programming at the refuge, and how they too can get involved!

En cette année 2014, on commémore la Première Guerre Mondiale. Pas facile de présenter un spectacle joyeux sur ce thème, on a connu plus heureux. Aussi, la Mairie de Paris a souhaité rendre hommage aux héros et victimes de la Première Guerre Mondiale, en choisissant le thème Guerre et Paix.

A 23h précises, les parisiens retiennent leur souffle devant la Tour Eiffel, qui s'embrasera de milles feux grâce aux dons de Christophe Berthonneau. Cette année, la Mairie de Paris a vu les choses en grands, et a invité le Groupe F, le plus grand artificier du monde à mettre le feu à la Tour Eiffel. On doit a ce groupe les spectacles de la Clôture de la Coupe du Monde 1998 et "Les Noces Royales de Louis XIV" dans les Jardins de Versailles !
Ce spectacle a été accompagné d'une bande son originale composée de standards de la musique classique, comme le Requiem de Verdi, le Requiem de Mozart et l'Hymne à la Joie, symphonie de Beethoven, et d'odes à la paix, à l'instar d'Imagine de John Lennon !
Ce spectacle "Guerre et Paix", d'une durée de 35 minutes, a été organisé par la Mairie de Paris en collaboration avec la Mission du Centenaire, comme un hommage aux victimes de la guerre et un appel à la paix. Aussi, le spectacle pyrotechnique a été divisé en quatre parties : le Centenaire, la Grande Guerre, la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, le retour de la paix et la reconstruction du monde. This show "War and Peace", lasting 35 minutes, was organized by the City of Paris in collaboration with the Mission Centennial, as a tribute to victims of war and a call for peace. Also, the fireworks show was divided into four parts: the Centenary, the Great War, World War II, the return of peace and the reconstruction of the world.
