This is my presentation Setup made of bamboo.
Project: Center for the study of vietnamese architecture
Level: ARCH 484
Media: liners/color pencil on bogus paper
Site: Saigon, vietnam
Project Description: This project experiments with the relationship between the straight edges (the already existing conditions of vietnamese architecture) and the curves (the optimistic vision of what vietnamese architecture can become). The form is derived from the idea of the curves peeling away from the straight edges as a way of suggesting futuristic design approach with preservation of tradition.
3 main focuses:
Formal relationship between straight edges and curves
Cultural/social sustainability as in using ornate details (cultural iteration of spatial personalization) to help providing a sense of regional architecture for Vietnam.
Encouraging the idea of outdoor/street-oriented interaction that plays quite an important role in vietnamese culture.
Ed Nelson, Marketing and Communications Manager for the MN Home Ownership Center gave a number of presentations throughout the day, in English and Spanish, on the foreclosure process and foreclosure avoidance.
I was looking for a challenge which I could practice my presentation skill. So this presentation festival was great opportunity for it.
I met great team members in order to plan innovative marketing plan for IT company. Actually the subject was a little bit hard to us, because it was too generous.
So we made a specific case which we assumed that we found a company which provided new generation online marketing based on 3D avatar.
Even though we got bronze prize, I think that our idea was the most remarkable one.
